White Sauce (BEchamel Sauce)

Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons margarine or butter
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons all purpose flour
1 cup whole milk
Equipment:
Deep medium size skillet
Whisk
Directions:
Place margarine salt and pepper into skillet and melt on medium low
Add flour and whisk together to form a roux
Add milk and whisk rapidly to remove all lumps
Continue whisking until desired thickness has been reached
Serve immediately over potatoes, biscuits or anything you would use a pepper gravy for
